Early Australian Colour Cricket Footage for Auction

THE earliest known colour footage of first class cricket being played in Australia will go under the hammer in Melbourne tonight.
Sotheby’s is offering three reels of 16mm Kodascope cine file - unearthed during a small country sale in Victoria - to be sold collectively.

Victoria Government makes $24m stamp duty from 1320 auctioned properties

The State Government is estimated to have made more than $24 million in stamp duty yesterday as a record 1320 properties were auctioned in Victoria.
Estate agents shared more than $11 million in sales commission from yesterday’s results.
