$120,000 raised at Andy Caldecott Memorial Fundraising Auctions

KTM Australia has said that $120,000 was raised at the Andy Caldecott Memorial Fundraising Auctions held in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this month.
Caldecott who lost his life in January at the 2006 Dakar Rally is mourned by the entire motorcycle industry who came together with KTM to raise funds for the Andy Caldecott Memorial Trust. The trust is set up to provide financial support to Andy’s wife Tracey and their children.
The highest bidding auction items donated included a Valentino Rossi autographed AGV helmet which sold for $9000, plus a Chad Reed autographed helmet which went for $6000.
The Sydney event raised the most out of the four cities contributing a total of $50,000 to the funding pool.
