Thieves who stole $300,000 in antique jewellery from a Wodonga antiques fair have been asked to return them, no questions asked.

Babcock & Brown win auction for US utility group

Babcock & Brown, the Australian infrastructure group, has agreed to buy NorthWestern Corporation in a cash deal worth $2.2bn, ending a long-running auction for the US utility.
The deal will add to B&B’s presence in the global power industry, where it already owns assets in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
