In a result much talked about in the jewellery trade Bonhams & Goodman increased its sales of fine jewellery last year by 100%.
Last year’s success story continues with the March sale of Fine Jewellery. The executors including Perpetual Trustees and beneficiaries of at least five prominent deceased estates have consigned a total of 180 lots to be offered in the 280 lot sale. A leading pawnbroker has consigned a significant unredeemed pledge of some 20 lots.
The trustees of the Rachel Malcomson Foundation have also instructed Bonhams & Goodman to sell 16 lots of exceptionally fine jewellery.
The March sale will include some of the highest quality pieces seen for some time including many fine diamonds, from 1ct up to 5.8cts
